Cookie Notice

1. Overview

Cookies are small text files that websites store in your browser, typically to keep you signed in, remember preferences or measure usage. This site has no accounts and carries no advertising, so it does not rely on cookies for its core functions.

We do not set advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, social media pixels or device fingerprints, and we do not record your browsing behaviour through third-party analytics.

2. Cookies and similar technologies in use

The technologies actually used by this site are:

• Strictly necessary cookies: none. The site does not use cookies to maintain a session or identify you.
• Preference storage: your interface language preference in browser local storage (localStorage), held only on your device.
• Analytics: no third-party analytics service, including traffic measurement, heatmaps or A/B testing tools. If the operator enables traffic analytics, a cookieless first-party measurement loads only with your consent — see section 3.
• Advertising and cross-site tracking: no advertising scripts, tracking pixels, remarketing tags or cross-site identifiers.
• Access logs: generated automatically by our servers and CDN when responding to requests. These are logs rather than cookies; see section 4.

3. Analytics and on-demand consent

By default this site loads no traffic analytics. If the operator enables traffic analytics, we only use a cookieless, non-cross-site measurement setup, and it loads only after you explicitly choose “Allow” in the consent notice. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing that choice from your browser storage. Measurements are used to understand page traffic and performance only — never for advertising or profiling.

If you choose “Essential only”, no analytics script is loaded. That choice is also stored in your browser's local storage and can be cleared at any time. The measurement setup uses no cookies, collects no cross-site identifiers and builds no user profiles.

4. Local storage and language preference

When you switch between the Chinese, English, Japanese and German interfaces, the site saves your language choice in browser local storage so that the same language is used on your next visit. The value is simply a language code such as “zh”, “en”, “ja” or “de” and contains no identity information.

It is not uploaded to our servers, we cannot read it, and it is not used to identify you or target content at you.

Clearing your browser's site data removes the preference, and the next visit returns to the default language (Chinese). This does not affect your ability to browse or download.

5. Third-party resources and access logs

Images are delivered through Alibaba Cloud Object Storage Service (OSS) and its CDN. To fulfil image requests and provide basic security protection, the CDN and our servers record standard access logs, including IP address, browser and device identifier (user agent), time of access, requested URL and status code.

These logs are used for security, fault diagnosis and capacity operations, never for advertising or profiling. Under our retention policy they are kept for no more than 30 days and then deleted or overwritten.

Our pages do not embed social media widgets, advertising SDKs or third-party analytics scripts. Links to external sites such as the INOWNESS main site are governed by those sites' own cookie and privacy notices once you leave this site.

6. Managing, changes and contact

You can review, restrict or clear this site's local storage and site data at any time in your browser settings. Major browsers provide per-site data controls under their privacy and security settings.

We may update this notice to reflect changes to the site or to legal requirements. Revised versions are published on this page with a new date.
